From the hills of Irbid, Jordan to the heart of Houston, Texas. One standard of honor, carried across an ocean and served at every table.
Ahmad Kilani is a Jordanian American restaurateur and the founder of a growing family of halal food brands headquartered in Houston. He arrived in the United States in 2015 to earn his master's degree, took a job on Houston's first halal food truck, and never looked back. Within a few years, he was building trucks of his own.
In 2021 he launched Clutch City Cluckers, a Nashville style hot chicken concept named in tribute to the city that raised his career. It grew from a single truck into a brand serving Texas and beyond, including a brick and mortar in Amman, Jordan. Juicy Joint followed with Houston's first halal wagyu smash burgers, then Wingz Shack, now frying across three states, and Kilani Food Hall, seven kitchens under one roof in Missouri City.
